Career Transition Programme
The Career Transition Programme is designed for professionals looking for a new job or career either externally or within their current organisation. Coaching can support you in increasing self-awareness around their strengths, weaknesses, values, motivators and preferred culture so their next role is aligned with them. This programme also offers support in practical parts of a job search, reviewing CV and LinkedIn and practising interview skills.
What is Career Transition Coaching?
Career Transition Coaching focuses on the topic of change in your role or career. Through a variety of coaching techniques, tools, assessments and exercises, the coach will facilitate your process of increasing self-awareness, reaching clarity about finding the best job for you and then taking practical actions to get it.
The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as “Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential. Coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.”
Depending if your focus is mainly on defining what your next role can be or securing your next job, the results to expect may be:
Having clarity around what your next job or career will look like.
Having clear steps for what you need to explore to move to a different job or career.
Gaining a greater understanding of your strengths, weaknesses, values, motivators, preferred culture and work environment.
Increased confidence in your CV, LinkedIn profile and interview skills.
Tools for Change
Having tools to support yourself emotionally through this change.
Being able to handle tricky interview questions.
